Don’t give up! It will all be worth it at the end.

God commands us to be strong and courageous because He is with us wherever we go. “This is my command- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) Don’t give up! It will all make sense at the end of this life and it will be all worth it. Who can stand against you if God is with you? Nothing can overpower God, not one thing. Bill Johnson preached a sermon that was just filled with the Holy Spirit, so much wisdom. In his sermon he said, “Ignore the fear”, “If you get confused with spiritual conflict, back up and survey the situation. What has God said to you in the last 12 months that have equipped you for this moment?” This little nugget is helping me in a major way because it’s so easy to get sidetracked on what God has said and start focusing on what we can see from our physical eyes. However, stepping back and evaluating the situation will allow you to remember what the Lord have already said about the situation will help you fight from victory instead of belittling yourself and fighting towards victory. You are a conquer, the daughter and son of a King! The more you press into who God is, the more you’ll see the victory you already have. I wonder what would have happened if Joshua didn’t lead the people around the Wall of Jericho? I’m pretty sure there was a lot of intimidation and reasons to fear because of what they could see with their physical eyes. What would have happened if he lost track of what God has already given him and withdrew and ran away? Where would we stand today?

Abba, thank You for Your grace and mercy. Thank You that You are always with us and helping us. I pray that we will become more aware of Your presence and not act like we are orphans, children without a parent but we have You. Daddy, continue to help my sis and bro on this journey. Strengthen them and help them not to give up. Help them not to fear but be strong in You in Jesus name. Amen.
